The axe broke loose and fell to the ground when he finally reached the Kund and dove in. Its fall became the source of the Lohit River. Since then, the Kund has been known to as the Parshuram Kund.

 

The celebration, also known as the Kumbh of the Northeast, will take place from January 12th, Thursday, through January 16th, Monday, 2023.
